At 10am I heard on the radio, “Ok, the Japanese team has just jumped into the Victoria Square Fountain”. I quickly grabbed my camera and rode into the city. As I got there the Nuon Solar Team had just arrived and jumped in also. This final shot is of the top three teams celebrating in the heat, in the very center of the city of Adelaide.

Photos from the launch of the 2 x 250km endurance race known as the Clipsal 500, raced on the streets of Adelaide. Driver appearances by: Steven Johnson, James Courtney, Russel Ingall, Tim Slade, Lee Holdsworth, Will Davison, Shane Van Gisbergen, Dean Canto, Steven Richards and Greg Murphy.
