Friday, December 2nd, 2005Relaxation…
Friday, December 2nd, 2005As some of you may know, I recently had a successful job interview to work for Nova Group in Japan, teaching English. Upon confirmation of my work visa, I’ll be leaving Australia for 12 months sometime in March 2006, and hopefully get placed in central Tokyo, cyberspace centre of the world
Woohoo! No more studying! (at least for a few years.. maybe). The other week I rode along old Mt Barker rd up to Crafers. Rather peaceful on the way down ;). Next time I think I might aim for Mt Lofty, but I think I’ll have to bring at least two water bottles for that one…
Now, back to Half Life 2, Live For Speed, Carmageddon and Goldeneye…
Edit: Oh and btw I came 1st in a LFS drifting competition on tuesday night
Finished
Friday, November 11th, 2005News flash: I have finished my fourth (and final) year of Uni.
Now, sleep…..
Question for future study…
Monday, November 7th, 2005Here’s one for you.
If the pen is ‘mightier’ than the sword, where does that situate the vehicle?
Thought of the day
Friday, October 28th, 2005If I go to Japan (to teach english - I have an interview scheduled for thursday), I have to get my glorious mane of hair sheared off
Going crazy
Tuesday, October 25th, 2005I suppose my answers to jokes can get a little out of hand when I’m in the middle of studying…:
August: tell me a joke
MOTA: why did the chicken cross the road?
August: to experience the relativity of his/her dynamic speed relation with the oncoming car, resulting in the sudden decelleration causing the chicken to be decellerfied out of his/her motile skin into the mobility of the airways, only to be once again submitted to the kinaesthesia of motion and the ecstasy of extreme speed dynamics as the second car from the other direction comes to crash his/her entrails across the windscreen
August: the driver of the car says, ‘wow what a great audience’
MOTA: you’re cooking what for dinner?
Back
Wednesday, October 19th, 2005I’m back from Sydney, where I attended the screenings at the student film forum detailed below. It went well, and got laughs from the audience :). I also met a number of people unrelated to the forum, including film maker Chris Castro, a top fellow Mr John Hannon and a few of the people who work under/for him at the Independant Publishing Media Group (FPC). I should write more on the trip but I’m getting a bit tired
I just updated my website portfolio, I think it’s up to date now. After I finish my creative project I’m thinking of a complete overhaul of the portfolio section
but first things first.
