The last few days of 2003 were spent in laziness and hanging around the house. However, on the 30th, Aki and I met up with one of her friends (who works at Mazda) at Yokohama. We went to the top of the Yokohama Landmark Tower, which has the fastest elevator in the world. It took us around 20 seconds to get to the top, reaching a maximum speed of 750m/s. Hard on ear pressure. Afterwards we went on a ferris wheel and also a rollercoaster that had greater G forces than any ride at Disneyland. Very exciting. After that we went to play some games at a Sega World place at at Pachinko and Slot.
Today we go to Akihabara (electronic district of Tokyo) to buy some electronics. After a long decision of whether to get a mp3-cd player or a tiny mp3 player, I have decided to buy an IRiver iMP-550 MP3-CD player in Japan rather than in Australia. Might also get some optical mice for $7 ![]()
Will add more later, gtg and catch the train.
