Tomorrow we’ll be going to Aki’s Grandpa’s place up in the mountains. It’ll be around a four hour drive there, so we’ll be staying the night there. It should be nice and freezing, but there doesn’t seem to be any snow there from what I’ve heard. Mt Fuji can be seen from just around the block (where there’s no houses blocking the way) from where we are - two weeks ago it only had a white cone on top of it, but since the snowfall here it has been fully covered with a creamy topping 
Currently on TV (for the past 9 hours or so believe it or not) there is a gladiator-style show where contestants complete various feats - like throwing a gallon drum over a 7 metre tall wall, playing push-of-war with a giant ball, beach flag sprinting, sprinting to stop a falling ball from landing on a target on the floor (by them getting in between the ball and target), and various task-oriented courses like sawing through a piece of wood with a hack saw then picking up a bunch of magnitised buckets and then pulling a truck across 20 metres or so (Akebono and Bob Sapp competed in this too). Another interesting game-team-show that was on recently was where a bunch of comedians parodied various famous wrestlers and fighters and teamed together to try and get a team of two professional women wrestlers onto a bed in the corner of the ring (they all failed, hehehe). Yet another one was where an individual player of the (baseball style) team has to parody a well known song by changing the lyrics (also including singing women in bikinis and camera-zooms on their chests :S)
Anyhoo gtg to bed for a 5am wake….
