Yesterday I established 11 world record times in Live For Speed for mouse control :P. I couldn’t race with the wheel yesterday, as I had a number of blisters on my hands from unrooting a tree on Sunday for Dad, so I turned to the humble mouse. None of the records were big though, and they should be easy to break. I am however now ranked 5th in the mouse record holder table… eh, its just a game :P (or is it?)

In late January I’ll be heading to Perth for a week of training in Iaido and Jodo (not Judo). I’m being sponsored by SAKA, and in return I’ll be teaching Iaido next year on Monday evenings. In the meantime, Xmas is a couple of days away, and in early January I’ll head to Melbourne to see Jas, Chris, Jay and Tony :)

Quick update…
Haven’t been up to much lately.. mainly been chillin and workin on websites. For some reason I’m checking out prices of importing a Skyline R32 (they are cheap!), but I dont have the need (or finances in general) to have a car. I hope the 15 year rule doesn’t change for a number of years…
I got a brief mention in the LFS news website, although you have to click on read more to get to where it has my nickname as a participant of the AAL finale. I’ll probably get a steering wheel+pedals soon :), but I don’t think I’ll go to this extent in realistic simulation (at least not in this decade :P).
I also saw Garden State the other day with Josh. It’s an interesting movie, but I’d recommend seeing it on dvd rather than in the cinema (flashback: Hero was quite awesome). Have to see Team America soon.

The party was a success; A cosy nine people came :) I just got back to my Dad’s from cleaning up, to hear the news that I am an Uncle, again! Congratulations Jaz and Chris!

Interesting last week.
I started designing a website for an anthropological conference, and organised some future webdesign work for late this year. Also been organising a party for tonight, although I’m thinking not many’ll turn up :S Oh well. Just one of those days unfortunately. 35 degrees in Adelaide… should get some water pistols ;)
Downside of the week has to be a wireless network card for connecting Dad’s desktop to my notebook. I’ve solved 2/3 problems so far (failing installation/incompatible SP2 drivers/enabling file+printer+internet sharing). Spent the near entire of Friday searching for similar situations on the net and trying to resolve connectivity… la la laa

On the upside I just got my result for Media Project - 94% HD. Whoooo! Went out thursday night with the media team to celebrate with karaoke, and to follow saw Hero at the Nova. Very nice film.

Just have to comment on a music video I just saw on Rage. The Bees - Chicken Payback is awesome! Its a funky catchy tune easy to sing/dance to and includes a very hip guy dancing on a DDR style arcade machine :) Rahk an’ Rohwl!
