Last night I found myself watching a pile of X-Files episodes from a borrowed series 5 DVD till 4am or so… Aren’t holidays wonderful?

Gotta Start packing soon…

Today while researching hypermedia, UIs and VEs, I came across a website with tons of scientific articles on the subject (and more) - CiteSeer.

It seems to be many weeks since my last post … I think this might be due to writing stuff in my courses’ discussion boards regarding (new) media issues etc.
As many of you might have noticed at Aki’s blog, me, her, Mak and Yuka went to Victor Harbour a couple of weekends ago. We went in the Volvo, but it was bucketing down with rain on the way there - the wettest conditions I’d seen in a long time. It stopped raining when we got there which was great. The waves splashing against the granite on the opposite side of Granite Island is quite spectacular… All three went to sleep on the way home (might be my driving), but I had Glay to listen to.

Last week I got around 7 books from the barr smith for ideas on what to write for my four upcoming essays/presentations. I’ve only read a bit from two of them, and am finding a book from the author of Killology.com rather interesting.

On Thursday night Aki and I saw The Wannabes. It was entertaining (heheheee!!!), but I would probably recommend it for home / tv viewing.

I didn’t realise Total Recall was on tonight until it was 3/4 broadcast. It was mentioned in my readings and lectures for NMTS regarding prosthetic memory…

Mak, Yuka, Aki and I went to TaikOZ last night at the Norwood Concert Hall. Bim bim bim bim bim bam bim bim bim bim bim bam bim bim bam bim bim bam bam bam bim bam bim bam boom boom boom boom boom bam boom boom boom boom… well, I can’t really recreate what it sounds like here! Aki came this time and she liked it a lot, and she kept thinking my belly was a drum :P. When she was coming back from putting something in a bin, I moved back to my seat a little too quickly and bumped the guy next to me, and got a *massive* glare from him… Oh well. TaikOZ used the biggest drum a lot more than when I last saw TaikOZ. However, it was the loudest audience I had heard in a while; coughs and little sounds coming from every direction during near-silent drumming sequences. Clapping was also a bit too enthusiastic: clapping before the performance was finished… but anyhoo, it was a great performance.
