Had my Physics and Maths 1 exams last Wednesday and Friday, and they went pretty well (almost no risk of failing). Now I just have Maths 2 in two days time on Wednesday, which’ll be my last exam.
We got a new optical mouse today. It makes a mockery of mouse balls.
Went out and bought a DVD today, El Mariachi and Desperado, two movies on one disc. Atlantic video have a HUGE range now of DVDs to rent and buy. I mean rows and rows, and rows of them. I might buy two for $50 next weekend..
Oh yeah, got a 128mb compact flash card, 750+ photos left at 1024×768, or 425+ photos left at 1600×1200. Ahh, the wonders of technology.

I only just managed to finish my Media Studies Production (988kb) on time today, but I think it’s quite a snazzy little product to make in only a few hours I’ve uploaded the Year 12 Graduation Multimedia Slide Show Presentation to this address (3.5mb) for anyone who wishes to see it again (or perhaps see it for the first time..)

I’m still not studying enough, and I’ve got to start and finish my media studies analysis and production by friday. Did a maths 1 exam on monday, and couldn’t concentrate during the last hour. Got a maths 2 exam in a little over an hour, i doubt i’ll go well in it, having not studied for it all that much :\
After exams are over, I’ll be designing a website for a restaurant in Terrigal, NSW. This means money I was looking at compact flash cards for my camera yesterday, and found that they do go up to 512mb. One thing though. A single 512mb compact flash card costs more than the camera! I think I’ll have to spend quite a bit ($150+) on a 128mb one. I might have to shoot in 1024×768 instead of 1600×1200 at Normanville in a few weeks time, so we don’t run out of photos.

I finished putting together the yr 2 graduation multimedia slideshow the night before in around 5 hours. I was buggered. But boy, was it worth it. The audience absolutely loved it, it got the biggest applause of the whole night (except for when that idiot finished his 29 minute speech on unrelated matters, but that was for a different reason).
What was really good, was that Ross and Naomi were doing the valadictory speech immediately before the multimedia presentation. I didn’t know this, and I had a photo of them at the end of the piece, but with Ross wearing a school dress. The audience went bezerk. After that, I went to Lauren’s, with the rest of the group, as can be seen at snap.to/gihsphotos. I’ve changed hosts from bandwidth limited geoshitties to lauren’s folder at secretsoul.nu, thanks to the ever-generous Lauren.

The camera has now used around what would have been $375 worth of film and photo development, in just two weeks.
Lexi, Naomi and I took photos of some year 12s during lunch yesterday, some came out good, but most of them are of people caught in the ‘Oh my god! it’s a camera! duck for cover!’ situation. I’m just going through the photos shot for Mr Knight a few months ago. Should include some of them.
Oh darn, forgot, i should be finishing my english speech.

The last week has been rather busy. So has the camera.
It has already taken 637 photos, in just over a week - well over $100 worth of ‘contemporary photograph development’. It has nearly paid around an eighth of it’s price in ONE week, which is astounding, to say the least. It is giving me (and my friends) tons of enjoyment.
Since Monday, I’ve been taking photographs of the group I sit with at recess, lunch, and in frees etc, and then after school uploading them to the internet. The Panoramas have been interesting. I haven’t been studying too hard though I’m not sure if Alexia and I will be able to start and finish a multimedia presentation for the graduation next thursday. We’ll give it a go though.
